So how did I come up with the name jizzle for the section of my blog celebrating the art of sci-fi paperbacks, the kind you buy for 99p in various second hand book and charity shops, many being so awesome that even if I have no intention to read them they have to be bought for their cover design and artwork! Right back to my first point….. What else would you call it, for one it has to be after who I think is the god of science fiction John Wyndham, from there it had to be after his weirdest titled book. One that I thought I would never find but did not want to ruin the experience of finding such a gem by buying it online, and then It happened by stumbling across a street market in the back lanes of Brighton I found it. So here it is the first cover to appear on the jizzle blog is Jizzle, savour it’s fantastic oddness with a breasted monkey holding a dragons tail!
